For travelers under 18 years, the rules for identification at the airport are different rules for adults. Regulations concerning identification of children depends on a variety of factors. Being aware of the identification that a child can make travel planning easier.  All passengers, including children, must pass through the detection Security Administration checkpoints carrying the airline before heading to their doors. Although requiring a state issued photo identification for all federal or adult passengers traveling by air, the law does not apply to children under 18. Adults traveling with a child still must carry proper identification to let go of control.
